KIEV, Dec. 15 - Naftogaz Ukrayiny does not see any obstacles to European companies' storing their gas in Ukrainian underground gas storage facilities (UGS) without customs clearance.
"According to our estimates, three is such a legal possibility. The offer is very simple: gas is imported in the 'transit' mode and stored," Naftogaz head Andriy Kobolev said.
He added if such gas is sold inside the country it is necessary to pass customs clearance, and if it is brought back abroad – no customs clearance is required.
