KIEV, Dec. 7 – Oil price hikes on the global market in the near term would not considerably affect the retail prices at Ukrainian filling stations, An-95 Consulting Group Director Serhiy Kuyun said.
"Despite a tangible rise in oil prices, there are no grounds to predict the tangible price change at filling stations. First, no one is confident that the new prices in the world will last for a long period of time: we see that the situation is changing almost every day. Secondly, the retail chains have a certain margin of safety, and in the winter period, the dead season period, traders are trying not to destabilize the situation. There are no preconditions for this now," he told Interfax-Ukraine.
