KIEV. Dec. 6 – Kiev authorities seek to spend UAH 10.5 billion from the budget and other sources in 2016-2018 to build the Podilsko-Vyhurivska line of Kiev Metropoliten. The total cost of construction by 2025 will reach UAH 31.6 billion.

According to the annoucement, construction of the line will help organize transportation of passengers from Troyeschyna residential areas to operating subway stations.

"The line would cover residents of Troyeschyna, Voskresenka and Raiduzhny residential areas with population of around 350,000. The line will improve the transport situation in the city redistributing the passenger flows and reducing the burden on non-rail transport," Kiev authorities said.
