KIEV, Dec. 5 - Ukraine’s gas company Naftogaz Ukrayiny on Monday accepted the European Commission’s plan to hold a trilateral meeting with Russia’s Gazprom on Friday in Brussels.
Maros Sefcovic, European Commission vice president for energy, suggested the meeting when he traveled to Moscow on November 25 and spoke on the phone with Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko the same day in order to avoid gas supply disruptions during the winter.
