KIEV , Dec. 1 - The total direct and guaranteed state debt of Ukraine in October decreased by $270 million, or by 0.4%, to $68.35 billion.

According to the Ministry of Finance, in hryvnia terms, taking into account changes in the hryvnia exchange rate, the state debt reduced by 2%, or UAH 35.4 billion, to UAH 1.743 trillion.

The total domestic debt in October fell by 1.2%, to UAH 568.77 billion, while the total external debt (excluding government derivatives) by 0.8%, to $46.04 billion.
