KIEV, March 28 ??“ Ukraine??™s power export plunged 16.7% on the year in the first two months of the year due to suspended supplies of power to Russia, the Energy and Fuel Ministry said Tuesday.

Ukraine, which has power generation overcapacity, has been seeking to accelerate the exports to Central and Eastern European markets after Russia had refused to pay market prices in June 2005.
