KIEV , Nov. 25 – Zaporizhtransformator (ZTR), a large global manufacturer of transformer equipment, has signed a contract to supply a shunt reactor to South Africa , the company reported.

The reactor will be shipped for Oval substation and used in the power grids of state-run company Eskom.

"This is a first order for South Africa received by our enterprise," the company said, adding that South Africa has become the 88th country where ZTR sells its products.
