BRUSSELS, Nov. 24 – European Commission Vice-President for Energy Union Maroš Šefčovič and Ukraine's Energy Minister, Ihor Nasalyk, signed a new Memorandum of Understanding on a Strategic Energy Partnership between the EU and Ukraine.

The 10-year memorandum foresees enhanced cooperation on a number of energy topics, from energy security to full market integration, energy efficiency and the decarburization of the economy to research and cooperation.
