KIEV , Nov. 23 - Cashless payments using payment cards in expanded by 12.5% in Q3 compared to the previous quarter, to UAH 149.5 billion, the National Bank of Ukraine reported.

The share of cashless payments of total transactions grew by 0.9 percentage points, to 35.8%.

The NBU said that in January-September 2016 a total of 1.272 billion cashless payments using cards for almost UAH 398 billion was settled. The cash conversion share of the total number of transactions using cards (543 million transactions worth UAH 732 billion) was 30%.
