KIEV . Nov 22 – The project under which the World Bank Group's International Finance Corporation ( IFC ) would provide financing of up to $200 million for a period of one year to Naftogaz Ukrayiny to buy natural gas by from large European suppliers remains in effect and its implementation depends on the needs of Naftogaz, IFC Regional Manager in Ukraine and Belarus Rufat Alimardanov said.

"The project has been approved by the Board of Directors [on December 17, 2015 ]. It will be implemented as soon as Naftogaz Ukrayiny would need money. We could provide for its implementation if a deal is signed," he told Interfax-Ukraine.
