CHISINAU, Nov. 22 – The European Union will continue providing border assistance to Moldova and Ukraine during the next several years.

The mandate of the European Union Border Assistance Mission to Moldova and Ukraine (EUBAM) will be extended until late 2019, the Mission told Interfax on Tuesday. The decision was made earlier at the 27th meeting of the EUBAM Advisory Board in Chisinau ( Moldova ).

The mandate of EUBAM is expiring on November 30, 2017 . It has been prolonged four times.
