KIEV, Nov. 18 – DTEK energy holding in January-September 2016 increased coal production by 4.1% year-over-year, to 22.31 million tons.
The company said in a press release that run-of-mine coal over the period grew by 16.9%, to 17.135 million tons and concentrate production rose by 20.8%, to 10.776 million tons.
Electricity generation by DTEK grew by 1.7%, to 28.615 billion kWh, including an 11.1% fall in generation by wind power farms, to 402.4 million kWh.
