KIEV, Nov. 20 - Ukraine’s coal reserves rose 3% over the past seven days to 1.871 million mt as of Monday, underscoring accelerated domestic supplies and imports from South Africa and Poland.
Ukraine’s reserves of anthracite coal, which is widely used by the country’s power plants, increased by 7.7% to 932,000 mt as of November 20, compared with 865,000 mt as of November 13, UkrEnergo, a company that runs the country’s power grid, reported Monday.
