KIEV, Nov. 18 – Ukraine’s space rocket maker, the Dnipro-based Pivdenne, will ship two main structures of the first stage of the Antares medium-class launch vehicle to the U.S. Orbital ATK Inc., the company reported Friday.
Orbital ATK relies on the stage for delivering cargo to the International Space Station (ISS) under a contract with NASA. It resumed flights in October after an upgrade.
According to a report on the Pivdenmash website, in late October, representatives of the American company inspected the missiles.
