Monetary base fell 0.2% in October, National Bank of Ukraine reports

KIEV, Nov. 14 - Monetary base in Ukraine decreased by 0.2% in October to UAH 354.64 billion, according to the National Bank of Ukraine.

According to the NBU, the growth of monetary base since the beginning of the year was 5.5%.

Money supply in September increased 0.04%. Since the beginning of the year, it has increased by 6.1%, to UAH 1.055 trillion.

The volume of cash outside banks last month increased by 0.2%, to UAH 293.32 billion, and since early 2016 growth was 3.8%.
