KIEV, Nov. 4 – The first criminal proceedings against officials who according to the results of electronic declarations are to be accused of illicit enrichment, can be opened no earlier than the beginning of 2017, deputy head of the National Agency on Corruption Prevention (NACP) Ruslan Radetsky said.
Radetsky said on the 1 plus 1 TV channel that after October 30 NACP members will take one week to verify the timeliness of submission of e-declarations. They will then verify the completeness of the e-declarations. If any corrupt offenses are revealed, the materials will be transferred to the National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU) or Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office (SAPO).
