KIEV, Oct. 28 – Ukraine will launch a new public broadcasting service on January 1, 2017, Oleh Nalyvaiko, head of the State Committee for Television and Radio Broadcasting, said.

"I am sure that in two months we will pass the way that would allow the start of the public broadcasting on January 1," he said at a roundtable entitled "Content of Public Linguists: Expectations and Requirements" organized by Detector Media with support of the Council of Europe Office in Ukraine on Thursday.
