KIEV, Oct. 24 – Ukraine's National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) Secretary Oleksandr Turchynov and Turkey's Undersecretary for Defense Industry Ismail Demir have discussed cooperation between leading enterprises of the two countries' defense industries and the implementation of joint projects in military and technical cooperation, the NSDC's official website said on Monday.

Agreement to set up a joint group to coordinate military and technical cooperation was implemented after a previous meeting with Demir, and "the group has begun to effectively work," Turchynov said.
