KIEV, Oct. 21 – There is a high likelihood that Ukrainian authorities could refuse implementing the conditions of the International Monetary Fund outlined in the memorandum of cooperation, co-owner and managing partner of FinPoint Investment Advisors Serhiy Budkin said.
"We received the third tranche from the IMF, and this is a good thing. But I am afraid that in the near term our politicians will understand that liabilities taken for receiving the next tranche are large and unachievable in the current situation. They may refuse… The third tranche is the largest credit ever raised from the IMF," he said at CIS Bankers Forum held in Kiev on October 20 and October 21.
