KIEV, Oct. 20 - Ukraine will try to expand capacity of the Slovakian natural gas imports if very cold weather persists during the winter, Yuriy Vitrenko, the commercial director at Naftogaz Ukrayiny, said Thursday.

"If, for example, a very cold weather persists for at least a month, then theoretically there may be not enough gas,” Vitrenko told reporters. “In this case, we have concrete options what to do.”
