KIEV, Oct. 12 - Ukraine will miss its target for natural gas reserves as a spell of cold weather forces the government to start heating season days earlier, Ihor Prokopiv, the head of UkrTransGaz, said Wednesday.

Ukraine will have 14.8 Bcm in its underground gas storage facilities when the government officially launches the centralized heating season on Thursday, he said.
