KIEV, Oct. 5 – Energoatom expects that dispatch restrictions could be imposed on power generation by its reactors in January through March 2017 due to the high likelihood of extra power generation in the Ukrainian power grid, Energoatom President Yuriy Nedashkovsky told Interfax-Ukraine.
He did not want to say how many reactors would operate this winter.
"As many as the power grid would accept. Now we have the reverse problem: in January, February and March the reactors would have dispatch restrictions. Now everything depends on how Ukrenergo would plan its work. According to the present projections, extra electricity generation would be seen in winter," Nedashkovsky said.
