KIEV, March 21 ??“ Ukraine will probably allow its power generating companies to export electricity directly and without a state-owned intermediary that had been handling this was decade, according to Energy and Fuel Minister Ivan Plachkov.

The move will benefit the power generating companies allowing them to boost exports and earnings as domestic market prices are controlled by the government, analysts said.
