KIEV, Oct. 3 – The International Monetary Fund says that the current simplified regime for small taxpayers in Ukraine requires reforms.

"However, the design of the simplified regime for small taxpayers remains inadequate as it still provides opportunities for arbitrage between this and the general system, and further reforms in this area could generate additional revenue (about 1% of GDP), while reducing distortions," read materials issued after the second review of the four-year Extended Fund Facility with Ukraine, which were published by the IMF on Monday.
