KIEV, Sept. 28 – Ukraine is confident in its legal reasoning in litigation with Russia in a London court over $3 billion eurobonds, but remains open to a possible peaceful settlement of the dispute if there are reasonable grounds, Ukraine's Finance Ministry told Interfax-Ukraine.
"In accordance with Ukraine's commitments under the current program with the IMF, namely, with regard to negotiations with the Russian Federation in 'good faith' on the claimed debt, Ukraine is ready to enter into further negotiations on the possible resolution of the dispute," the ministry told Interfax-Ukraine.
