KIEV, Sept. 27 - Roughly half of the Ukrainian population supports entry into the European Union, and nearly 46% of Ukrainians call relations with EU countries a key foreign policy priority.
Some 49.7% of respondents polled by the Razumkov Centre gave an affirmative answer to the question of whether Ukraine should join the EU, and 35.3% answered negatively. Most respondents in western and central Ukraine support entry into the EU (77.4% and 55.8%, respectively), while the number of opponents prevails in the east, in Donbas and in the south (57.6%, 52.8% and 44%).
