KIEV, Sept. 20 - President Petro Poroshenko and Argentinean counterpart Mauricio Macri have met in the United States to discuss the resumption of political and business contacts between the two countries, paying special attention to cooperation in energy, aerospace, aircraft building and agriculture.

"The heads of state noted the fact that the meeting between the Ukrainian and Argentine presidents was taking place for the first time in the last 16 years. The parties emphasized the importance of restoring active political and business contacts between the two states at all levels," the Ukrainian presidential press service reported.
