KIEV, Sept. 20 - Naftogaz Ukrayiny, to avoid unfounded accusations of unreliability of the Ukrainian gas transportation system, has supported the continuation of work of the European Union monitoring mission by the end of this year, Naftogaz Chairman Andriy Kobolev said.
"The monitoring mission has arrived. We suggested that these people be present in Ukraine at least by the end of the calendar year. Not to repeat the situation of 2009, when Gazprom will block, shut down, reduce something and then will blame Ukraine," he said in an interview with the Dzerkalo Tyzhnia weekly.
