KIEV, Sept. 20 – Naftogaz Ukrayiny chief Andriy Kobolev clashed with the government's plan to increase its natural gas stockpile, saying it would be “inappropriate“ for Ukraine to accumulate more than 15.1 billion cubic meters (bcm) of gas by October 15 in underground gas storage facilities.
"We believe that it is inappropriate to obtain more gas," he said in Kiev on Monday.
He added that it is inappropriate to revise upwards the earlier announced volume of 15.1 billion.
