KIEV, Sept. 13 – President Petro Poroshenko says he expects the European Union will decide on visa-free travel for Ukraine in October.
"We'll have a visa-free regime in a few weeks, I hope, in October," he said an official ribbon-cutting ceremony of a kindergarten in the village of Slobozhanske in Dnipropetrovsk region.
It was reported that on July 7 the European Parliament Committee on Foreign Affairs voted in favor of recommending that the European Parliament cancel visa requirements as soon as possible for citizens of Ukraine , Georgia and Kosovo who make short trips in the Schengen zone.
