KIEV, Sept. 8 - The Ukrainian president has accepted credentials from ambassadors of several countries.
The credentials were presented by ambassador of Germany to Ukraine Ernst Reichel, Ambassador of Estonia to Ukraine Gert Antsu, Ambassador of the European Union to Ukraine Hugues Mingarelli, Ambassador of Italy to Ukraine David La Cecilia, Ambassador of Togo to Ukraine Kwami Christophe Dikenou, Ambassador of Mongolia to Ukraine Nemekh Bataa and Ambassador of Jamaica to Ukraine Margaret Jobson.
During the conversation with the newly appointed ambassador of the European Union to Ukraine, the president noted exceptional importance of preserving solidarity and unity of the EU with Ukraine and expressed hope for continuation of the regime of sanctions against Russia until Moscow puts an end to its aggression and Ukraine's territorial integrity is restored. In this context, Poroshenko praised yesterday's decision of the COREPER regarding the prolongation of personal sanctions.
