KIEV, March 17 ??“ The Chornobyl Nuclear Power Plant should sign a contract for the design and construction of a new safe containment for the Shelter facility by November, Interfax-Ukraine reported.

The EBRD invited a tender for the design and construction of a new safe containment in March 2004 and currently there are two bidders, including France-German-Ukraine consortium Novarka and U.S.-Ukraine consortium led by CH2M Hill.
