KIEV, Sept. 7 - Antonov Airlines (Kiev) plans to continue cooperation with NATO under the SALIS program (Strategic Airlift Interim Solution) for the use of transport capacity of An-124-100 Ruslan aircraft with a carrying capacity of 150 tons in the interests of 14 NATO member states and the EU after the current contract with the alliance expires in late 2016.
Antonov Airlines CEO Oleksandr Hrytsenko said the Ukrainian side is ready to continue cooperation with NATO under new conditions.
"We participate in the program together with Russia's Volga-Dnepr until December 31. Today we continue work and from January 1, 2017 we will work independently," he said.
