Hostages freed after mutiny onboard Turkish ship sailing from Mykolaiv

KIEV, Sept. 5 - Officers of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) and Odessa border guards have freed people earlier taken hostage during a mutiny onboard a Turkish vessel, the SBU press service said on Monday.

Four crewmembers were injured, according to some reports, the SBU said.

On September 4, an SOS signal was received from a boat flying the Turkish flag. The cargo vessel was carrying metal structures from Mykolaiv, Ukraine to Jordan.
