KIEV, Sept. 2 - Ukrtransgaz has completed repairs to eliminate defects at the section of the trunk transit gas pipeline of the Balkan direction towards Odessa region ahead of schedule, the company reported.

According to the state-owned company, a full resumption of deliveries is expected in the morning on September 3.

"Repairs were started on August 29 and, according to experts, should last eight days. Meanwhile, the professionalism and skills of gas industry workers allowed halving the forecast term. To reliably solve the problem they replaced the damaged section with a new pipe," the report reads.
