KIEV, Aug. 30 – The leading candidates for the post of president remain current President Petro Poroshenko and head of the Batkivschyna Party Yulia Tymoshenko, according to the results of a survey conducted by the Social Monitoring Center and Ukrainian Institute of Social and Economic Transformation of the Institute of Economics and Forecasting under Ukraine's National Academy of Sciences.
According to the survey, the results of which will be presented in Kiev on Tuesday, Poroshenko leads, with 12.5% support of all respondents and 20.3% of respondents who have already made up their minds. Tymoshenko is second place, with 9.9% of all respondents and 15.9% of those who have already made up their mind.
