KIEV, Aug. 23 – Ukraine is beginning visa-free travel negotiations with Canada, Ukrainian Ambassador to Canada Andriy Shevchenko said.

"We are at the outset of a very long road. The discussions will last for years, God help us they don't last for decades. But we will get there anyway," Shevchenko said at a press club in Kiev.

He said Ukraine was starting the process from scratch.
