KIEV, Aug. 11 – Electronic declaration of assets must start in Ukraine on August 15, and it is inadmissible to postpone, President Petro Poroshenko said.

"Corruption should be rooted out, but it is better to prevent it… We need the effective control over income and expenses of officials, judges, prosecutors and all law enforcers… We have a tool for this control. This is electronic declaration of all assets that will be launched from August 15. I say once again: everyone must turn the pockets out before society from August 15 – I do not consider other date and I do not even want to hear about the postponement! I ask not to believe rumors and speculations," Poroshenko said in comments posted on the president's website on Thursday.
