KIEV, Aug. 5 – Ukraine's international reserves in July rose by 0.7%, or $94 million, to $14.082 billion, the National Bank of Ukraine reported.
According to the bank, over the past 12 months, the increase in reserves amounted to 35.7%.
"The increase in reserves in July was primarily due to the NBU's buying foreign currency to smooth excessive fluctuations in the interbank forex market and replenish reserves. Net purchase of foreign currency by the National Bank over the month was $257.8 million," reads the report.
