KIEV, Aug. 4 - Several representatives of the state enterprises Krasnoarmiyskvuhillia and Selydivvuhillia have announced a hunger strike inside the building of the Energy and Coal Mining Ministry over delayed salaries, Mykhailo Volynets, head of the Independent Trade Union of Mine Workers, said.

The miners' strike caused stoppages at five coal mines: Ukraina, Kurakhivska, 1/3 Novohrodivska, Selydivvuhillia's Rossiya mine and Krasnoarmiyskvuhillia's Stakhanova mine, he said.
