KIEV, Aug. 3 – The National Bank of Ukraine starting August 10 has permitted individuals to buy and sell foreign currency equivalent to up to UAH 150,000 without presenting their ID documents (passports).
According to a posting on the NBU's website, the requirement is outlined in resolution of NBU board No. 364 dated August 2, 2016 amending the rules of organization and carrying out currency exchange transactions on the territory of Ukraine. The document will take effect on August 10.
