KIEV, Aug. 1 - Ukrainian businessman Borys Kaufman intends to acquire a controlling stake in Platinum Bank (Kiev) in the amount of 75% plus one share.

According to Kaufman's press service, on August 1 he filed a package of documents to the National Bank of Ukraine to obtain permission.

Kaufman intends to participate in subscription to new shares and inject UAH 120 million in the bank's charter capital.
