KIEV, July 29 - Ukrainian Defense Minister Stepan Poltorak met with U.S. Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition, Technology and Logistics Frank Kendall to discuss military-technical cooperation.

Poltorak told Kendall that in 2015 the Ukrainian Defense Ministry managed to save funds and to repair and procure far more armaments and military hardware than in 2014, the Ukrainian Defense Ministry press service said on Friday. He also said that the system of procurement and governmental defense orders must be reformed for the achievement of strategic objectives.
