KIEV, July 29 - Ukraine will seek to invoke an early warning clause of the Energy Charter Treaty following Russia’s unexpected move to steeply cut natural gas transit to Europe via Ukrainian pipelines, Naftogaz Ukrayiny said Friday.

Russia reduced pressure in the Ukrainian gas transportation system below the critical level, jeopardizing the stable flow of gas to Europe.
