KIEV, March 13 - Ukrainian and Russian aircraft makers will build 24 Antonov An-148 regional jets in 2006-2008, Oleh Shevchenko, the director general of the Kiev-based Aviant Company, said.

"In 2006, we will build 3 An-148 planes, in 2007 we will build 7, and in 2008 we will build 14 planes," Shevchenko said Friday at a presentation in Moscow on the launching of mass production of the plane.
