KIEV, July 25 – The share of stocks of the total assets of insurance companies' investment portfolios decreased by 34% in 2015, to UAH 11.9 billion from UAH 18 billion and by 25.2% in the first quarter of 2016, to UAH 8.9 billion, Ukraine's national commission for financial service markets regulation reported.

Data from financial reports for 2015 of 319 Ukrainian insurance companies was used.

The regulator said that the decrease in the share of stocks was due to removal of suspicious securities.
