KIEV, July 22 – The loss of operating banks in Ukraine totaled UAH 9.2 billion in H1, which is 67% down year-over-year, the National Bank of Ukraine reported.

The NBU did not give data for the whole banking system taking into account insolvent banks.

The central bank said that banks' revenue in H 1 2016 fell by 13%, to UAH 88 billion.

Loss from trading operations decreased by UAH 1.8 billion and other operating income – by UAH 1.4 billion. Fee and commission income grew by UAH 900 million.
