KIEV, March 10 - TBIF Financial Services BV, a Dutch financial company, increased its stake in VABank, a mid-sized Ukrainian bank, to 27.11% from 9.5% after it bought shares from other shareholders, the bank said.

TBIF bought 9.5% of VABank at the end of October 2005. VABank President Sergei Maximov said earlier that TBIF Financial Services could decide to increase its stake in VABank to 40%.
