KIEV, July 14 - Azerbaijan and Ukraine seek to revive a project to ship Azeri crude oil to European markets through the Odessa-Brody oil pipeline, President Petro Poroshenko’s administration reported Thursday.
Poroshenko met Azeri President Ilkham Aliyev in Baku on Thursday to discuss a range of projects, including reviving the pipeline, which was idle for years due to steep decline in oil prices.
“A mandate was given to revive the project,” Aliyev said at a joint press conference with Poroshenko, Poroshenko’s press service reported.
