KIEV, July 7 - Ukraine is seeking a bigger size loan from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development for natural gas imports, a senior Naftogaz Ukrayiny official said Thursday.
Ukraine expects that at least a $300 million loan from the EBRD will be available on July 20, but it wants to negotiate a bigger size loan.
“We are holding the negotiations on increasing the size of EBRD credit line,” Yuriy Vitrenko, the head of the enterprise development at Naftogaz, said at a press conference.
